| Lulu, who doesn't share her catnip. Ever. |
I may have, in fact, crossed over to become a crazy cat lady. Or I'm at least well on my way.
Check out the ingredients in this Tension Tamer tea I've been enjoying over the past several months . . . Catnip!!
| I've been drinking catnip. I swear I had no idea. I swear. Meow! |
I posted this on my Facebook page yesterday, but since I'm still laughing about this 24 hours later, I just had to share it here too!
So. What are some of the symptoms of being a crazy cat lady? Anything I need to be aware of? Does this qualify as me getting out of my comfort zone in 2013?
Do let me know in the comments!
~Laura
Oh my. That is TOO funny! Why on earth would they put catnip in tea???
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
That's exactly what I said, Susie! LOL And then I kept right on drinking it... :)
DeleteHee-hee, that is funny, but hey, if it works! Maybe I should try some!
ReplyDeleteWell, like I said Sheila: the tea tastes great! LOL (I think the problem could arise if I decide to grow my own catnip and make my own catnip-only tea. Hmmm...)
DeleteHi Laura~ ~
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to find your blog. Thanks for all you did for the Socks for Sandy. You received a few boxes from me. Hope relief is finally finding it's way to those folks. You are a Gem for all you did to help.
Crazy cat lady. . .who me? I have 3 who are now house cats that we found just wandering around our place hungry and without a home. There are 2 more that we are feeding that we cannot tame. . .yet. It happens when you live in the country.
Make it a great weekend.

Hi Ahrisha - yes I definitely remember the wonderful boxes you donated for Socks for Sandy - you helped so many people with your generosity! I'd love to see pictures of your cats! If you'd like, you can post their pics on my Pet Scribbles Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/petscribbles :)
DeleteOh my! I have never seen catnip as an ingredient in anything before! Except catnip!lol
ReplyDeleteBTW, is that a Ragdoll cat? I have two...a boy and a girl. They are so beautiful with their blue eyes.
Yes Nancy, Lulu is indeed a ragdoll, although we joke that she just might be half lemur monkey too! ;) We used to also be blessed with her big brother, who we sadly lost his battle with cancer 3 years ago. I adore Ragdolls, so you're going to have to share some pics, pretty please! :) (See my above note to Ahrisha - I'd love to see some pics on my Facebook page!)
DeleteI would love to share some pics! Thanks...Lulu is a beauty btw! :)
DeleteLulu says, "I know! Thank you!" Lulu has a bit of a big ego that corresponds with how fluffy she is! ;)
DeleteHello Laura, I found your blog and other site today and have really enjoyed what you have written, thank you. I look forward to the next blog. P.S. I believe catnip is part of the mint family and safe to consume. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you found your way here, Jen! And yes, luckily catnip is safe to consume, but I think my cats want to start drinking tea now! :)
